Daughter of Edward Bromhead, vicar of Reepham, Lincolnshire, and his wife Catherine Ayre. Married firstly James Edwards (1756–1816), bookseller of Pall Mall, London, and Harrow, Middlesex, in 1805. Mother of Catherine James Edwards. Married secondly Thomas Butt, curate of Trentham, Staffordshire, in 1820.
