Thomas Elliott Bramlette
1817–75
American lawyer and politician. Colonel in the Union army, 1861. Governor of Kentucky, 1864–7. Retired from the governor’s office and established a legal practice in Louisville, Kentucky, in 1867. Married Mary Graham Adams in 1874.
