William Henry Drummond

1845–79

Scottish soldier and big-game hunter. Second son of Viscount Strathallan. Officer in the Seventy-second Regiment of Foot (Duke of Albany’s Own Highlanders). Kept a journal of reminiscences on natural history and big-game hunting in Africa. Killed in South Africa.
