Dora Keen

1871–1963

American traveller and alpinist. Third daughter of William Williams and Emma Corinna Borden Keen. Graduated from Bryn Mawr College in 1896. Climbed ten peaks in the Austrian Alps in 1909; made the first ascent of Mount Blackburn, Alaska, in 1912. Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, London, 1914.
