Christian Gaika
1831–1905
Xhosa interpreter and constable. Educated by missionaries. Interpreter and constable in the division of Bedford, Cape Colony, from 1867 or before until 1887 or later. Son of Ngqika (Gaika), a Xhosa chief. Brother of Chief Sandili.
