Thomas Dick Lauder
1784–1848
Scottish writer. Author of novels, works on Scottish topography, and several scientific papers. Appointed secretary to the Board of Scottish Manufactures, later united to the Board of White Herring Fishery, in 1839. Succeeded to the baronetcy in 1820.
